The story about young Goodman brown is how he went on a journey through the forest and ended up finding even things lurking in there. The story makes it seem like it was all a dream when he enters the forest but it seems to real for him. He sees things such as his wife faith and always coming across with her pink ribbon. The journey goes on by him experiencing things and evil which make him start questioning if it was all a dream or not?
